Detection, clearance.
Safe Point's focus is the detection and identification of landmines. Below is a brief overview of each discipline and the equipment used in the field.
Manual clearance, supported by modern equipment.
Safe Point's primary focus is the detection and identification of landmines. Alongside our highly skilled specialists who use proven manual methods — which continue to remain the most reliable — the operational team can also boast of a variety of modern equipment used in demining actions.
Four-week course for new deminers.
Safe Point conducts a four-week training programme for potential demining team members before any demining work begins. The training also includes Casualty Evacuation and first aid courses, held by international experts along with local operational and medical staff. Following the successful completion of the specialized training curriculum, personnel are formally accredited by the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA). This certification ensures that all demining operations adhere to international standards and national safety protocols.
